Two Steps, One Sticker – New Rule for Texas Vehicle Registration/Inspections
Starting March 1st, 2015, Texas is going to a one sticker system. You’ll need to have your inspection done within 90 days of your registration expiration and show proof that you passed inspection in order to renew your vehicle registration. As long as your inspection sticker is current, you can renew your registration this year without re-inspecting. If your inspection expires before your registration does, you’ll need to go ahead and get your inspection before registering. You can read more at www.TwoStepsOneSticker.com and see the attached flyer.
