Buyer’s Wish List
What features are most important to you as a home buyer?
You know you are ready to start searching for a home, but you need to communicate your wants and needs with your Real Estate Professional. Just print out this form, fill it in, and give it to your Realtor® at your first meeting. This wishlist will let your buyer’s agent know some of your basic criteria and should also strike up a conversation about what type of home you are interested in and how you will use it.
There are thousands of homes on the market. With a little input from you, your buyer’s agent should be able to create an online home buyer search with plenty of homes that are similar to your criteria. You can look at the search results online and mark your favorites and even possibilities. If there are any homes you do not like, you can delete them from the list and won’t have to waste your valuable time going to see them. Keep in mind, some features are not easy to use as search criteria, so viewing your online home search will be an important part of the process. You can prioritize the results based on the photos and information you find on each listing.
If your buyer’s agent does not have a way to show you search results online, you may want to keep looking. This is the technology age and online search and ranking features should be provided by every agent! My client search site is even more robust than the search on my website, so give me a call at (512) 413-3554 if you would like to test it out. You can also email me at [email protected].
